The aim of the Nordplus Junior project "Nordic-Baltic Digital and Cultural Educational Cooperation" (financed by The Nordic Council of Ministers) is to be familiar with and compare two Nordic/Baltic countries - Finland and Lithuania, getting to know their history, geography, languages and culture through digital skills. This project would provide an opportunity for students and teachers from Nordic and Baltic countries to learn more about each other. Pupils from Finland and Lithuania will have a chance to learn about Finland's and Lithuania's history, customs and traditions, express their patriotic feelings and prepare for long life learning. During the activities of the project each country will present museums, heritage sites, national parks, geographical features, language, songs, dances, cuisine through digital skills. Taking part in this project students will promote national identity by learning about important historical and heritage sites and developing an understanding of their own country. As a result, the participants of the project will improve digital competences: information, communication, content creation, safety, problem solving, computation thinking and language skills, become more self-confident and knowing the past will easier and more confidently venture into the future to enjoy long life learning. The expected final products will be the video presentations about each country's history, geography, language and culture with evidence of the digital activities in Finland and Lithuania. Financed by The Nordic Council of Ministers
